Privacy Policy
Asorin Management Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use asorinmanagement.com or hire us for automotive key work, why we collect it, how we protect it and what rights you have over it.
This policy is written to meet the requirements of Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applies to our operations in Ontario and across the Greater Toronto Area.

Who we are
Asorin Management Inc. supplies, cuts and programs replacement car keys, key fobs, smart keys and remotes. We operate as a mobile service across Toronto, Peel, York, Durham and Halton. For any privacy question, our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
When you contact us about a key
If you call or email us we collect the details we need to identify the correct key and reach you: your name, telephone number, email address, the location of the vehicle, and the year, make, model and registration or vehicle identification number of the vehicle.
When you apply to join our team
The form on our Join Our Team page collects five things: your name, your email address, your telephone number, your location, and your reason for wanting to work with us. Sending the form is entirely voluntary.
When you browse the site
Our web host records standard server log information, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time of the request. This is used for security and troubleshooting. We do not run advertising trackers or sell any browsing data.
Vehicle and key security information
Because a car key is a security device, some of what we handle is sensitive. Before we cut or program a key we verify that you are entitled to it, which normally means checking photo identification together with vehicle ownership or registration documents.
We view these documents to confirm entitlement. We record only what we need to show that the check was carried out, and we do not retain photocopies or scans of your identity documents beyond that verification unless the law requires it.
Why we collect it
- To identify the correct key, fob or remote for your vehicle and quote it accurately.
- To arrange and complete the appointment and to reach you about it.
- To confirm that the person requesting a key is entitled to that vehicle.
- To keep a service record so a future key or warranty question can be answered.
- To assess and respond to job applications.
- To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations.
We do not use your information for any purpose beyond these without asking you first.
Consent
By contacting us, booking a job or submitting the application form, you consent to us collecting and using your information for the purposes described above. You can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us, subject to any legal or contractual obligation that requires us to keep a record. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a service to you.
Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where it is necessary to run the business:
- Google LLC. Applications submitted through the Join Our Team form are copied into a private Google Sheet held in our company Google Workspace account so our hiring team can review them. Google processes this data on our behalf under its own terms.
- Our web host. The website and its database are hosted by Hostinger, which stores form submissions and server logs on our behalf.
- Key and parts suppliers. Where a key must be ordered, we pass only the vehicle information needed to source the correct part, never your identity documents.
- Professional advisers and authorities. Where we are legally required to disclose information, or where disclosure is necessary to investigate suspected fraud or vehicle theft.
Some of these providers store data on servers outside Canada. Where that is the case, the information remains subject to the laws of the country it is held in, and we choose providers that offer a comparable standard of protection.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising or profiling cookies. WordPress may set a small number of strictly functional cookies, for example if you leave a comment or log in to the administration area. Our caching layer may store an anonymous page cache to make the site load faster. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings without losing access to any part of this site.
How long we keep it
- Service and job records: seven years, to satisfy Canadian tax and record-keeping requirements and to support warranty claims.
- Enquiries that did not become a job: up to twelve months.
- Job applications: up to twelve months from receipt, after which unsuccessful applications are deleted from both WordPress and the Google Sheet.
- Server logs: as long as our host retains them, typically a matter of weeks.
How we protect it
The site is served entirely over HTTPS. Access to the WordPress administration area and to the hiring spreadsheet is limited to named individuals, protected by strong passwords and login rate limiting. Paper records, where any exist, are kept secured at our premises. No system is perfect, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of what we hold.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
- Withdraw your consent to future use of your information.
- Complain about how we have handled your information.
Email us and we will respond within thirty days. We may need to verify your identity before releasing information, for the same reason we verify it before cutting a key.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca or on 1-800-282-1376.
Children
Our services are directed at vehicle owners and job applicants of working age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other sites
Where this site links to a third party, that organisation has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for its practices. Vehicle brand names and logos shown on our Clients page identify the makes we service and do not imply any partnership or endorsement.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information we will update this page and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
